Die meisten der rund 300 Einwohner der kleine Gemeinde Epesses sind Winzer, die am häufigsten angebaute Rebsorte ist der Chasselas. Und diese Winzer verstehen ihr Handwerk, wie man beim Genuss des Alain Parisod Le Davier Lavaux AOC sofort bemerkt. 

Die traditionelle Zange für den Rebschnitt nennen die Winzer aus Epesses Le Davier. Und so heisst passenderweise auch dieser reinsortige Chasselas von den steilen, sonnigen Südlagen des Lavaux. Lebhaft und ausgewogen, mit Aromen von Birne, Zitrus und Bonbon, ergänzt von floralen und mineralischen Akzenten. Leicht moussierend, ein wenig cremig, frischer Nachgang.
