About the wine

Ausserhalb vom Wallis kennt man den Fendant mit seinem bekannteren Namen Chasselas. Ein äusserst zugänglicher Tropfen, dessen deutsche Bezeichnung Gutedel ihn vielleicht noch besser charakterisiert. 

Im Glas präsentiert sich der Grand Métral Fendant Valais AOC in der gewohnten, Frische ausstrahlenden hellgelben Farbe. In der Nase ein prägnantes Zitrus-Aroma, ergänzt um Noten von weissen Blüten und einer feinen Mineralik. Im Mund herrlich frisch, dabei ausgewogen und mit gut ausbalancierter Säure.
